| LINDENWOOD ON THE LINE On Sunday, May 20 join us as we take a ride down the new Shelby Farms Green Line. You can choose between one of 3 distances; the 6 ½ route, the 13 mile route or the 20 mile route. If you need help getting your bike to and from your home, Morgan and Phil will do bike pickup duty on Thursday, May 17. Call the church office to schedule a pick-up. We will have a pre-ride safety course at 1:30 pm going over the rules of the road, give each bike a mechanical check and air up the tires, and have a prayer for the road. Please call the church office to register. Lunch will be not available. |
| Family Sunday is the second Sunday of the month We ask that all children, youth and adults worship as a family in Chapel, W.O.W. or Sanctuary services. It is important not only for our children and youth see their parents participate in worship, but to also expose children to the entire worship service. For those children who have parents elsewhere in the service (servers of communion, choir members, etc.) they may sit with David and Sharron Johnson. |
| LIFEBLOOD will be here this SUNDAY from 9:30 until after worship. Stop by the Life Blood Mobile lab and donate blood. You must be in generally good health, be at least 17 years old (16 with parent’s consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds. Lifeblood is the Memphis region’s only non-profit volunteer blood center. Every year Lifeblood supplies more than 100,000 units of blood and blood products for local patient transfusion. |

| LIFEQUEST presents “A NIGHT AT THE ORPHEUM” Friday, June 15 – We will be watching “Grease” (Sing-a-long) from the Orpheum’s 2012 summer movie series. Tickets are $35 per person and includes drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the Broadway Club at 6 p.m. and the show at 7:15. Tickets go on sale, Sunday, May 27. Proceeds benefit the LifeQuest Counseling Center. |

Your children will be out of school very soon – and I know that they will not put on those school uniforms until they have to wear them again in the fall – and then most of them won’t fit! Please donate any school uniform clothing that you have to Shannon Elementary. If you want to go ahead and bring them to Lindenwood, we will store them until they are needed in the fall.
