Chapel Service (Sunday 8:30)

This service our "Country Church" service because it is like many small country churches you have experienced and served. Some of us gather in the Bell Conference Room before church for coffee, conversation, and fun. I call it the "Koffee Klatch" and it is one of my favorite times of the week.

The service itself is shorter than our other services - 45 minutes, although I like to say the last fifteen minutes are for fellowship and coffee. It’s a time to visit and get to know each other better.

The clergy don’t wear robes at this service, but suits. The atmosphere tends to be informal, like in a country church. And although we don’t have a full choir, we might have a solo, or quartet, or the Chorale, or a Children’s or Youth Choir sing. It varies from week to week. The hymns sung tend to be more of the old time "Gospel favorites."
